The dollar eased, with USD/CNY at 6.6675 (RMB up 255 pips), USD/JPY at 157.7 (yen softer) and USD/KRW at 1325.9 (won marginally weaker). The three currency lines point different ways, so transshipment landed cost in local currency needs a line-by-line re-computation.

USD/CNY fell to 6.6702 and USD/JPY to 156.41; a stronger yuan and yen directly cut transshipment delivered cost in local currency while Korea held flat.

The yen firmed, the won weakened and the RMB softened slightly; Northeast Asian refiners must re-price dollar books currency by currency.
