USD/CNY settled at 6.6704, down 0.04%, with two-day volatility narrowed to ±0.05%; cross-border energy trade settlement timing may be moderately optimized to reduce FX transaction frequency.

SNSUC rolled out Digital Warehouse Receipt System v3.2 on Oct 23, integrating real-time FX linkage (USD/CNY, EUR/CNY, USD/JPY) to enable T+0 cross-border settlement for fuel oil and bitumen at Singapore, Busan, and Rotterdam hubs.

EUR/CNY at 7.4851 (-0.0521) and EUR/USD at 1.1211 (-0.0357) both soften, forcing a local-currency recompute on EUR-settled transshipment contracts. CIPS euro direct clearing bypasses the dollar leg and the EUR/USD spread, pulling settlement from T+2 to T+1.
