SNSUC's digital warehouse receipts hash the bill of lading, inspection certificate and title documents in the browser with SHA-256. The 256-bit digest goes on-chain, so a title transfer only needs a hash comparison instead of sending the full file back and forth. A trader can confirm a cargo's ownership chain on a phone in seconds, an order of magnitude faster than paper bills of lading.

For carbon footprint, the ESG fields ride along with the receipt: load port, vessel name, distance and CO2 derived from fuel burn all land in the same digest. When a downstream refiner files its compliance report, it pulls that one record instead of chasing certificates from multiple suppliers. In transshipment, clear title plus traceable carbon data are the two hard gates a bank checks in client due diligence.
