SNSUC digital warehouse receipts compute a SHA-256 digest in the browser via Web Crypto over the receipt fields — owner, grade, quantity, warehouse and lot. The digest rides on-chain with the receipt, so a buyer can recompute it locally on page open and verify without trusting any central server.

This turns title confirmation from an email acknowledgment into a verifiable mathematical fact. Once issued, the digest cannot be altered; on resale only the ownership field changes and the hash is recomputed, with the old record still traceable on-chain. For re-export title transfer, it moves bill-of-lading verification to every single click.

The ESG carbon module converts each batch's transport distance and handling energy into a CO2 equivalent, written into the receipt's extension field. When a downstream refiner prepares Scope 3 disclosure, it pulls the carbon field straight from the receipt instead of chasing certificates from multiple ship owners and warehouses. Carbon data travels with the cargo, tighter than a year-end estimate.
