SNSUC's digital warehouse receipts move title confirmation into the browser. Each receipt computes a 256-bit fingerprint with SHA-256 on the client side; that fingerprint, together with the bill-of-lading number, warehouse operator, grade and quantity, is written on-chain in one pass. A buyer opens it in the browser and verifies the full title chain without waiting for back-office batching.
This shifts the cost of trust from third-party intermediaries onto a cryptographic hash. Title delivery used to mean three steps — warehouse seal, logistics return, bank confirmation. Now a client-side fingerprint plus on-chain attestation collapses those into a single verification. In transfer trade especially, where endorsement and title transfer often span three time zones, computing the fingerprint locally and verifying remotely cuts settlement latency from days to seconds.
ESG carbon footprint is the second pillar. We convert the loading, transport and storage energy of each lot into carbon equivalents and bind them to the receipt fingerprint on-chain. When downstream refiners build Scope 3 disclosures, they pull the carbon-tagged receipt directly and skip the after-the-fact reconciliation.
